Welcome to the website for the Student CARES Team!
Our Mission Statement:
In response to concerns about the well-being of members of the William and Mary Community, a group of campus professionals has joined together to create CARES (Collegiate Awareness Regarding Eating Smart).
As the name implies, CARES advocates healthy eating and lifestyle choices for college students. Additionally, we work to promote healthy body image across campus. After all, every body is beautiful.
The Student CARES team works in conjunction with the Mental Health and Wellness Committee (MHWC), a group of W&M campus and Williamsburg community members comprised of Residence Life, Recreational Sports, Counseling Center, and community professionals.
Please feel free check out the rest of our website if you would like more information about our organization. There is also information about campus and community resources for people interested in body image and eating issues.
Our meetings are: Wednesdays at 9:15 PM in Morton 341
