It's the big room with the hardwood floors. Trinkle Hall: In the Campus Center --head toward the Marketplace but keep walking past the Fishbowl, straight back to wonderful Trinkle Hall. Ladies, please note that Trinkle has an very uneven tile floor, so heels are not the best footwear for this location. Fitwell Studio On the side of WM Hall closest to the Caf, there is a staircase leading down to a door marked "Intercollegiate Athletics." Use that entrance, but don't go through the next set of doors into the athletic offices. Instead, take the stairwell to your right. The stairs will lead you to a basement hallway, the Fitwell room is on the right (the one with the stationary bikes and enormous exercise balls)." Rec Center practice rooms Usually on the main floor. Once you go through the turnstile, turn right and walk past the weight machines to the back wall. Little Theatre: Downstairs in the Campus Center--go into the front doors but don't go through the second set!! Instead, turn right and go down the stairs; the Little Theatre is right in front of you. Miller Gym: In the Rec Center, head straight back from the main entrance. A Note Regarding ShoesIn the interest of protecting both the floors of these rooms and your own feet, please note the policies for the following locations: Rec Center: NO high heels allowed; wear dance sneakers, jazz shoes, or socks Fitwell: Heels are allowed, but please get some heel protectors to cover sharp edges Trinkle: Uneven tile + high heels = unhappy feet. Again, sneakers or socks. Chesapeake: Anything goes! (Within reason, see below) No matter where you are dancing, you want shoes that will stay on your feet no matter what moves you decide to bust out. This means NO FLIP FLOPS unless you would like to trip or lose a toenail. |
