Club Information

We meet on Sunday afternoons (from 1-4 pm this semester) for our official club practices. These normally include a brief meeting where we make announcements, have discussions, and generally ensure that all is right with the world. Following this, the rest of the time is devoted to learning incredible, awesome dance stuff from our team captains, and to practicing/dancing/mingling/etc.

In addition to our Sunday practices, we also have lessons from our professional dance instructor, Diane O'Neal, every Wednesday evening. They last for a total of three hours, with each hour devoted to a different dance. Lessons cover all manner of dances, from swing to rumba to Viennese waltz. The cost for lessons is per hour, but the more hours you sign up for, the better deal you get. The lessons last for three-week sessions (you pay only once per session).  On top of regular lessons, we generally try to have two extra one-day workshops on more obscure dances (polka, anyone?) between the three-week periods.

For more information about locations and times, look at the calendar page!
