I have worked at William & Mary for 21 years. I worked briefly in the Undergraduate Admission office before becoming part of a newly formed Telecommunications Office in 1989.

Eventually, Telecommunications, the Computer Center and the Help Desk merged into one entity that is today's Information Technology. At that time, a new Learning Team was formed and I decided to jump into the world of teaching different software technology to campus faculty, staff and students.

When it became clear that the "web" was going somewhere and growing rapidly, the Learning Team took on the task of managing department websites.

An 18-month project ending on July 31, 2008, resulted in the launch of a new website for William and Mary. This also led to the formation of the IT Web Team of which I am a proud member.
