Recent Presentations

Dr. James Stronge presented on qualities of effective teachers at the 2008 Ohio Administrators of State and Federal Programs Spring Conference; the ASCD Annual Conference in New Orleans in March with Leslie Grant; Quinnipiac University in Nicaragua; the ASCD Summer Conference on Differentiated Instruction, Understanding by Design, and What Works in Schools; and to the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators. He also presented a paper with Catherine Little and Leslie Grant at the 10th Annual Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness held in Singapore in July. The focus of the presentation was to relate findings from an international comparative study of talent development in those identified as national award-winning teachers. In October, Stronge was the keynote speaker at the Consortium for Research on Educational Accountability and Teacher Evaluation (CREATE) in Wilmington, North Carolina. He, Leslie Grant and Patricia Popp also presented on effective teaching of at-risk highly mobile students at the CREATE conference.
