Jamel K. Donnor is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at The College of William and Mary. His research focuses on race and inequality in education.
Dr. Donnor earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, an M.A. from The Ohio State University, and his B.A. from Washington State University. Prior to arriving at William & Mary, Dr. Donnor served on the full-time faculty at the California State University at Fullerton in the Department of African American Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Dr. Donnor's research and scholarship has appeared in Teachers College Record, Race, Ethnicity and Education, Education and Urban Society, and The Journal of Educational Foundations. He is co-editor of The Resegregation of Schools: Race and Education in the Twenty-First Century, and is currently working on a edited volume entitled Scandals in College Sports.
