William & Mary Supports Haiti

Welcome to the William & Mary Supports Haiti Resource Website.

William & Mary Supports Haiti is the umbrella organization for all the College's relief efforts. We respect individual organizations' autonomy in putting on various events and fundraisers, but we provide logistical and organization support in the form of a scheduling, publicity, donations, and issue education. We are working with Landon Yarrington MA '09, PhD '15 and Jonna Knappenberger '09 in coming up with community partners in Haiti to form a more sustainable commitment to the relief and reconstruction. We are working with the University of Fondwa, Sonja Ayiti, SOIL, and Partners in Health to provide as much local support as we possibly can. As W&M students, we don't want our engagement to end when the earthquake goes out of the news.

Haiti week will be Feb 8-12, with various organizations putting on events each day. WMSH will be sponsoring a benefit concert on Friday the 12th, which coincides with the 1-month anniversary of the earthquake.

This website will provide access to a PayPal account, the college-wide event calendar, and articles on various relief efforts. Thank you for your participation.
