Lambda Alliance exists to serve the LGBT and Ally community of campus and provide a social group in which our members can learn about themselves and those around them and from that, openly be who they are in a welcoming setting, as well as presenting numerous opportunities to learn about the Queer community, educate others, and engage in activism on campus and in the wider community.

Meetings range from discussions of current events, presentations of interest to the members by other members, political activism talks and workshops, event planning for the campus and social events. Of course, they are not limited to these and member input is very welcome.

A main focus of the group is to ensure the supportive and safe environment for all members and non-members. No member of Lambda's sexual orientation or gender identity is assumed. Anonymity is of great concern and is a very important aspect of the environment we wish to create. All are welcome, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or other factors!
