Interested in rushing Phi Mu Alpha?  Great!  Here's what you need to know.

Eligibility

In order to join Phi Mu Alpha, you must be a music-loving male student currently enrolled at William & Mary.  All individuals meeting these requirements are welcome, regardless of musical talent or membership in other fraternities, social or otherwise.

Rush

To be considered for membership in Phi Mu Alpha, you must attend our Rush, sort of an "open 

house" for the fraternity.  We organize two weeks of informal events so that non-brothers can become better acquainted with us and learn more about the organization.  These activities might include football in the Sunken Gardens, pool in the Sadler Center, or dinner at Paul's Deli.

Even though the ultimate purpose of Rush is to recruit new brothers, simply coming out to Rush Events does not mean you are obligated to join; there is absolutely no commitment involved and no strings attached.

There's no cost to come to Rush, either; Phi Mu Alpha gladly foots the bill for all of its Rush Events.

We invite anyone who is eligible to join Phi Mu Alpha to come to our events.

Invitation of Membership

Once we've gotten to know you during our Rush Events, we deliberate on the seriousness of your intent to join the Fraternity.  Once the Rush period ends, we warmly offer bids of membership to all those truly desiring to begin the brotherhood process.  Upon receiving an invitation, individuals can choose to accept, defer, or reject the bid at hand.
