Student Health Center
- A pregnancy test is $10.
- Offers basic GYN exams.
- Does not offer prenatal care.
Office of the Dean of Students
- If the child is due at the beginning or middle of the semester, the student may have to leave for the remainder of the semester.
- If the child is due late in the semester, the student can work with their professors to rearrange their work, finals, or arrange for incompletes.
- The Dean of Students office can give temporary parking permits to make getting to classes easier.
Counseling Center
- Focuses on ensuring that student makes a conscious decision, and does not rush into anything.
- Counseling is available for any decision a student makes.
Residence Life
Off Campus:
Williamsburg Department of Human Services
- Contact only if you are living in Williamsburg, if you don't live in Williamsburg, contact social services for the locality that you live in.
- Can connect you with Medicaid, Foodstamps, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) if necessary.
Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia
- Runs a pregnancy care center located behind Colony Square shopping center.
- Open from 10am - 4pm daily, staffed by community volunteers.
- Free pregnancy tests, and counseling for any family members.
- Makes layettes for give to mothers shortly before they are full term.
- Offers post abortion counseling.
- Located on Jamestown Road, 2 miles from confusion corner, across from the Colony Square shopping center.
- Open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- Free pregnancy testing.
- Focuses on developing relationships with the women they help.
- Offers information on keeping the child, adoption, and abortion.
