William Detmold
I am an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at the College of William and Mary and a Senior Scientist at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab). As well as teaching physics, I have an active research program aiming to uncover the underlying nature of the building blocks of the universe. I use large scale computational methods to investigate Quantum Chromodynamics, the theory of the strong interaction that binds quarks and gluons into hadrons such as the proton and neutron. I am part of the Hadronic and Nuclear Theory Group |
