It's been awhile since I last blogged, but it can't be terribly difficult while sitting through

class. So here goes:

You're probably wondering what's up with The Tatame Report, right? Well sometime last

semester Jeff and I were puttn' around blog name ideas. We had some lame ones

come up, something or other about Judo Blog, etc. But after an hour or so we came to

The Tatame Report. Not only does it sound cool, but it's name roughly translates into

the ground report. You see, Tatame is the judo term for mat. So lo n' behold, I'm here in

macroeconomics with little more to do than this--bringing you the latest developments

on the ground.

You should all know we've had a schedule change from last semester's routine. Over

the next couple of weeks we're going to see how that plays out in terms of who

shows up to practice on what days. Depending on what happens we may make

more changes after talking things over with you guys (and girls) . For now though, I
