The Student Assembly helps fund a bill to create a new mobile application to allow students to request rides via their phone or computer. This will increase the transparency of wait times and help the drivers navigate more efficiently through a gps incorporated into the driver's side of the application through two new tablets in the vans. This is a very exciting addition to the Steer Clear service and we are very thankful to the Programming Club and our Assistant Director of Technology, Nathan Schaaf, for making this possible.
