I joined the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in the Fall of 2012 as an Assistant Professor in Economics.  I hold a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in International Macroeconomics from Northwestern University.

My research interests include capital flows imbalances, the macroeconomic causes and effects of political instability and other large rare events in rapidly growing countries, and the international transmission of business cycles.

I'm teaching ECO 304, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and ECO 476, International Finance / Open Economy Macroeconomics.  Course Materials are available on Blackboard.
