kierg0Grace Kier, Editor-in-Chief

Grace Kier is a senior at the College, majoring in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and Government. In addition to the Monitor, Grace is President of Pi Sigma Alpha and is a member of Alpha Phi Omega (a co-ed service fraternity). Her research interests include nonproliferation and the conflict in Ukraine.

 

 

 

Amelia Larson, Managing Editor

Amelia Larson is a junior at the College, and majors in Economics and International Relations. Outside of the Monitor, Amelia is a member of the William and Mary Debate Team and an administrative intern with the Project on International Peace and Security. 

 

 

Joe BarnesProduction Editor

Joseph Barnes is a Junior at the college majoring in government. Beyond the Monitor, he is involved with the Model United Nations where he travels and debates contemporary global issues. His studies focus on growing wealth disparity and its effect on institutions.

Luke Campopiano is a senior at the College, majoring in history and philosophy. He is a senior copy editor for the Monitor and the submissions editor for the James Blair Historical Review. His research interests include Arctic geopolitics, international law, and intellectual history.

Jack Shangraw is a senior at the College, majoring in International Relations with a minor in Data Science. Outside of the Monitor, Jack is involved in SOMOS, which is a community health and development applied research project that partners with a community in the Dominican Republic.

 

 

Iskandar HeadshotJenna Iskandar, Director of Operations

Jenna is a junior at the College, majoring in International Relations. In addition to the Monitor, she is involved in Zodiacs Dance Crew, Point Blank, and the Chinese Student Association. Fun fact: despite injuring herself on a weekly basis, Jenna has never broken a single bone (fingers crossed).

 

 

sutterlineElizabeth Sutterlin, Director of Public Relations

Elizabeth is a senior at the College. majoring in International Relations with a minor in Russian & Post-Soviet Studies. She is currently a Research Fellow for the Project on International Peace and Security (PIPS), an undergraduate think tank that crafts policy solutions for emerging security threats. She is also the President of the William and Mary Fencing Club, and in her free time she likes enjoying music and fresh air with her friends.

 

 

Benner HeadshotFrank Benner, Director of Training and Community Management

Frank Benner is a junior at the College majoring in International Relations. Prior to William and Mary, Frank was an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army where he focused on Latin America and deployed to Kuwait and Iraq. Outside of the Monitor, he works for the Peace Operations Training Institute, which provides online training related to U.N. peacekeeping, as a program assistant.
